Happy Halloween

I just finished decorating our house for Halloween and I think this is as spooky as I am going to get…

The real fun is going to happen on Halloween night, when hoards of trick-or-treaters swarm our Victorian lined street dressed in all their Halloween finery in search of sweet goodies.

My husband and I recently purchased an old Victorian home on D. Street in Petaluma that is locally famous for the hoards of trick-or-treaters that come from miles around.

Our neighbors have told us to be ready to hand out up to 2,000 pieces of candy!

Part of our preparation has been getting friends lined up to hand out candy and to make sure things remain orderly because we are also throwing a party in our back yard which will require Robbie and I to be attentive host and hostess.

We’re making chili this weekend, counting candy and getting ready for the big night…
