One of my great passions is entertaining during the holidays.
A gathering of friends and family enjoying each others company with good food and wine is heaven…
Since this was the first Thanksgiving in our new (old) home, I was excited to create a setting for the meal that would inspire our guests, and showcase the beauty of our dining room.
The room has high ceilings, well worn redwood floors, and a cool built-in from the bar at the old Hotel Petaluma which gives it a bit of farm house-meets-elegant feel.
I brought in a couple farm-style tables and galvanized benches, laid crisp white table cloths on top, and decorated the table with fresh rosemary from the garden.
Super simple–but I think it does the trick.
